| Welcome to the Blackball Pool Community | |
|
We are part of a community of over one hundred pool sites of which the first appeared in the late 1990s.
You'll find that the forum and shoutbox have been re-introduced after a lengthy absence and it's again possible to register as a site member.
This is an independent web site primarily promoting blackball pool.... but we are of course happy to promote any major pool events no matter what the rules to which they are played.
You'll find that we are linked on the World Pool Association's web site and that we display blackball rules in a form suitable for download and printing.
We provide numerous services for the blackball community so please register as a site member to make the best of these..... such as free hosting and the blackball banner exchange.
Feel free to post in the forum or submit news about your blackball organisation, league or events. We will willingly publish news about all pool events and there are no restrictions whatsoever on placing non-commercial links.

 | With only a few weeks to go more and more players are booking their entries into the Isle of Man Festival of Pool.
The event is made up of three major competitions, we start off with the first weekend with the British Open, then from Monday to Friday we move on to the Isle of Man Festival of Pool and finish off on the next weekend with the biggest Pro/Am comp ever held. With over £40,000 in prize money this is one of the largest in the pool calendar.
The Spanish contingent of 17 male and female having just arrived back from winning the World Pool Championships in Swaziland have now confirmed their attendance at this years Festival of Pool, having the Champions here along side the French players give Festival a great European flavour.
For the first time ever the British Championships will host competitions for Wheelchair and Learning Difficulties, normally these players only get to play at one major event each year but having heard how well the Isle of Man hosted the competitions in 2005 they really wanted to come over and see for themselves.
The first competition in the Cuesports TV £50000 Series starts off in the Isle of Man, it will then move on to Wales. Eire, England and Scotland. With £10000 prize fund at each event this will attract the very best pool players.
All events will be filmed by Cuesports TV and shown live on the internet. Borders TV have confirmed that they will be filming the event as well. There are still places available in ALL events, Singles [men and ladies] Team events [men and ladies, amatuers only] Mixed doubles and Senior [over 40s] You can come for a weekend all stay for the 5/6 days, its up to you, the venue, Villa Marina has been voted as the best by the pool players and the Tournament tables are second to none.
